5Great ProductMar 09, 2010
I bought it about 2 weeks ago and keep it in my office. It's a fun exercise while you work. I wish they had one heavier than 9 pounds. Overall, great product, good quality, great price!

3Too little resistanceMar 04, 2010
This is well constructed and works well for strengthening individual fingers but if you've trained trip at all will be too low of a resistance.

I've moved on to the captains of crush #1 gripper.

5Gripmaster Light Tension 5 pounds Nice!Mar 03, 2010
Great for guitar players or any string instrument. It's a real work out for your fingers when you press down on each button one finger at a time. The excercise where you make a full fist pressing on all buttons, might feel light to some, the key lies in the repetitions. If you have really strong fingers you might want to get one with higher tension. I've used it for two months and my fingers hold down the strings very well, plus they don't get tired. It's great for the F Chord.

5Excellent Product for Individual Hand and Finger ConditioningMar 01, 2010
I picked this up about a week ago and find that with a few days of use, it has already made a difference.

Typically, hand strengthening exercisers develop the palms, but not the individual fingers. With this unit, I am able to isolate individual fingers and help to build their strengths and stamina. The unique design also allows for increasing the palms strength.

If you practice the martial arts, you will find that using this over the course of the day allows for a passive workout (which is also great as you deal with the stresses of the day!) between classes.

The other great side benefit of this unit, is that it helps me address my overall health. It may only be my experience, however I noticed that with a few repitions, my sinus' cleared up and most of my headache was gone. I am personally convinced that pressure points in my hands contribute to my overall well being and this unit is great to isolate specific points.

Highly recommended overall as a product that delivers more than promised!
